James Harney

James Harney is currently the Senior Manager of Strategic Research at PLOS. James has held various roles within the organization, including Principal Product Strategist, Product Owner, Production Systems Manager, Web Technology Manager, Senior Web Producer and Developer, and Web Producer. James also has experience as a self-employed Freelance Web Developer and Consultant and as an Instructor/Lecturer at UC Berkeley. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Philosophy from Cornell University and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
