Emory Pitisci has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2017, they worked as an intern at Argos USA, where they monitored corrective actions and implemented an order of importance system for parts in the storeroom. They also served as a Global Quality Intern at Jabil, where they restructured a database management system and improved efficiency by 7%. In 2018, Emory worked as an English Foreign Language Teacher at the International TEFL Academy. They then joined Lifted Strong Community Organisation in 2020 as a Project Coordinator and Women's Health Educator, focusing on women's empowerment and self-sufficiency in Tanzania. Emory went on to work at B Lab Spain in 2021, providing B Impact Assessment Training and Consulting. They also worked as a Sustainable Business Consultant at Ashoka in the same year. From 2021 to 2022, Emory worked as a Project Manager at The GeoAnalytics Center, focusing on Fintech/Blockchain for Social Impact projects in Kenya. Currently, Emory serves as a Partner Success Associate at Plug and Play Tech Center, starting in 2023.
Emory Pitisci completed an International Masters program in Sustainable Business & Innovation at EADA Business School in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida between 2013 and 2017. During their time at the University of Florida, Emory also pursued minors in Business Administration and Sales Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Emory obtained certifications in "Data Visualization with Advanced Excel" and "Data-driven Decision Making" from Coursera in March 2020.
