Bryan Essig

Bryan Essig has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Bryan is currently working as a Senior System Engineer at Plug Power. Prior to this, they worked at Rivian as a Battery Test Engineer, where they conducted testing and setup for battery packs and modules. Bryan also worked at Proterra Inc as a Staff Engineer, at Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Staff Technical Engineer, and at Saft as a Sr. Validation and Verification Electrical Engineer. Bryan gained experience in control software testing at Trison Business Solutions, Inc, where they also wrote control software for multi-test stand systems. Additionally, they served as a Senior Vehicle Engineer at Aerotek, managing a fleet of fuel cell vehicles, and as an Electrical Vehicle Engineer at Battery MD, where they oversaw maintenance and repairs of electric vehicles.

Bryan Essig obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University from 1998 to 2001. During their time at the university, they focused on Computer Engineering, Solar Power, and Batteries.
