Gavin Flavell

Gavin Flavell's work experience includes a role as a System Engineer at Plug Power starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The MOF Wriedt Group from 2019 to 2022, where they participated in research focused on metal organic framework structures and properties. Gavin was also responsible for material development involving air filtering materials, electro- and photochromic switches, stimuli-responsive spintronics, and multi-step material fabrication. Gavin obtained the "Best Presentation" award in the electrochemistry category at the 2019 Summer RAPS conference for their work. Before that, they worked as a Chemical Stockroom Clerk at Clarkson University from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they managed inventory and cataloged chemicals, set up chemicals for educational use in lab classes, and handled and disposed of hazardous chemical waste.

Gavin Flavell attended Clarkson University from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued a degree in chemical engineering with a specialization in material engineering.
