Mechanical Design Engineer - Transportation Group at Plug Power

Christopher Connor has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Christopher started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Novelis in 2015 and then worked as a Process Engineer Intern at Huber Engineered Woods. In 2017, they became a Design Engineer at Kubota Tractor Corporation. Christopher then moved on to RFA Engineering, where they worked as a Product Engineer II on a contract basis from 2018 to 2019. After that, they took on a similar role as a Product Engineer II (Contract) at Club Car from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at Plug Power as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Transportation Group, starting in September 2020. Christopher's work experience showcases their expertise in engineering design and product development.

Christopher Connor obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Georgia from 2014 to 2017. Christopher is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, starting in 2022. Additionally, Christopher holds several certifications including the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) - Basic from CITI Program obtained in March 2022, the Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Professional - Technologist (GDTP) from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) obtained in July 2020, the PE Mechanical: Machine Design and Materials which they passed in May 2019, and the FE Mechanical which they passed in February 2017. Christopher also completed the Introduction to Symbolic Math with MATLAB course, although the specific month and year of completion were not provided.
