Cortney Mittelsteadt

Cortney Mittelsteadt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of technology and executive leadership. Their most recent role was as the VP of Electrolyzer Technology at Plug Power, starting in June 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Giner ELX from April 2017 to June 2020. Cortney also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Giner Inc from September 1999 to June 2020.

Cortney Mittelsteadt holds an impressive education history, starting with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering, which they obtained from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1994. Following this, they pursued further education and completed their PhD in Polymer Chemistry at the State University of New York/Syracuse University from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, Cortney gained proficiency in Business Administration and Management as they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 2014 and 2016.
