Azi Pourmir Ph.d., P.e.

Azi Pourmir, Ph.D., P.E. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Engineering at Plug Power since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Process Engineer, Hydrogen Plant Development at Plug Power from December 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Plug Power, Azi worked at Matrix PDM Engineering for seven years as a Senior Process Engineer from March 2014 to December 2021, gaining valuable experience in the field.

Their career started at the University of Tulsa in 2009, where they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant for four and a half years. This experience gave their the opportunity to further enhance their skills and knowledge in their field.

Azi Pourmir, Ph.D., P.E., has a strong educational background in Chemical Engineering. They pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Tehran, where they obtained a B.Sc degree. Following this, they continued their education at The University of Tulsa, where they completed both their M.Sc and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering.
