Frederik Soetens

Frederik Soetens started their career in 2005 as an E&I Engineer at Frames. Frederik later took on roles as a Functional Safety Engineer and a Senior Design Engineer (E&I) at the same company. In 2022, they joined Plug Power as a Senior Design Engineer.

Frederik Soetens earned their MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Advanced Mechatronics) from Delft University of Technology. Frederik completed this degree from 1996 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they obtained additional certifications including the Certificate of Competence (in line with AS/NZS 4761) from MOXI Hazardous Areas Services in September 2013 and the FS Eng certification from TÜV Rheinland AG in January 2011.
