Luigi Schwartz

Luigi Schwartz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Luigi currently works at Plug Power as a Resource Manager, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they were the Service Operations Manager, Americas at SP Scientific, where they managed a team responsible for the installation and repair of freeze drying equipment.

Before joining SP Scientific, Luigi worked as the Test & Field Service Manager at HAEFELY HIPOTRONICS from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they managed the team responsible for final testing and field service activities for high voltage measuring equipment. Luigi also worked on establishing and updating the skills matrix for the service engineers and creating a database of customer maintenance needs.

Before joining SCP Global Technologies, Luigi worked at Vishay as a Maintenance Supervisor from 1996 to 1997, where they were involved in equipment installation and service for a new production plant. Luigi was part of the team that started the project and received training in thermal treatments and electro-plating lines.

Luigi's work experience also includes a role as a Mechanical Polishing Project Leader at Jotaly LTD from 1993 to 1996.

Luigi Schwartz obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Welding Technologies and machines from Dunarea de Jos University in Galati, Romania. In addition to their formal education, Luigi has pursued several certifications, including "How to Proactively Manage Conflict as an Employee," "Leading and Working in Teams," "Managing Conflict: A Practical Guide to Resolution in the Workplace (getAbstract Summary)," "Business Etiquette: Phone, Email, and Text," and "Productivity Tips: Taking Control of Email" from LinkedIn. Luigi obtained these certifications in 2021, with the "Business Etiquette" and "Productivity Tips" certifications acquired in March and the others in December.
