Tristan Kretschmer

Tristan Kretschmer's work experience is as follows:

- Currently, they are working for Plug Power as the Director of Sales & Market Development for Northern and Eastern Europe since September 2021. Tristan was also the Director of Sales for the DACH region, specifically focusing on electrolysis, from April 2021 to August 2021.

- Prior to working at Plug Power, Tristan worked at thyssenkrupp as a Senior Business Development Manager for Green Hydrogen from May 2019 to March 2021. Their role involved driving global energy and industry systems towards a renewable future, with a focus on sales acquisition, projects involving green hydrogen and green chemical, investor relationship management, and advocacy work on the EU and Federal Government level in Germany.

- From 2013 to 2019, they worked at McPhy in various roles. Tristan was a Business Development Manager responsible for developing projects around electrolyzers, hydrogen refueling stations, and long-term service contracts in Northern Europe from January 2015 to April 2019. Prior to that, they worked as part of the Sales team at McPhy Energy branch in Germany, where they were involved in the build-up of the sales back-office, active sales for hydrogen electrolysers, and the acquisition/hiring of new staff from November 2013 to December 2014.

- Before their time at McPhy, Tristan worked as an Assistant to the Managing Director at Rhenus Office Systems GmbH from July 2012 to October 2013. In this role, they were responsible for product development for industrial customers and served as a link between the CEO and sales representatives in Germany.

- Tristan also gained work experience at TOTAL, where they worked as a Junior Staff member for Hydrogen business and special projects from September 2007 to June 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Working Student at the California Fuel Cell Partnership from October 2010 to February 2011.

Tristan Kretschmer obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin between 2008 and 2012. Tristan then pursued further education at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, where they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Economics and Sales Management with a focus on renewable energies and industry from 2015 to 2018.
