Michael Dumont

Michael Dumont is the Director of Software Engineering for Plum, Inc. Michael is responsible for leading all software efforts across the appliance, applications and services, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

Michael has over a decade of experience in the tech industry ranging from full-stack web development to embedded systems engineering. He has previously worked at Amazon's Lab126, Microsoft, and SmugMug.

He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Michael can frequently be found in the kitchen learning new cooking techniques, or finding any excuse to be out near or on the ocean.
