Ram Bhide

Ram Bhide has been an engineering executive for more than 25 years in the networking industry. He has led software engineering teams of all sizes and is considered to be a change agent, raising the bar on engineering excellence and deep strategic planning. He had authored a number of US Patents regarding routing and switching, including distributed router forwarding, ACL/QoS, and aggregation, and has focused his professional career on the technologies of switching, cloud infrastructure, SDN/NFV, and systems integration. Mr. Bhide has spent 20 years in a variety of executive positions with Cisco Systems, with the major of that tenor focused on layer 2 and layer 3 systems.
