Michelle Leblond

With nearly 25 years of background screening industry experience, Michelle Leblond is the Executive Vice President of Compliance and Privacy at PlusOne Solutions. Michelle maintains a solid strength in technology, legislation, and operations, as well as the sales and financial aspects of managing a business in this industry.

Not only does she hold a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designations in both Canada and the US, but Michelle is also responsible for all provincial/territorial, state and federal privacy and consumer reporting compliance efforts for PlusOne. Furthermore, Michelle works closely with the operations and sales teams to create effective programs and ensure customer needs are exceeded, operational excellence is maintained, and new product and service delivery options are developed.

Michelle has an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, a post-graduate diploma in Human Resources from Ryerson University, and is a current member of the HRPA (Ontario), SHRM, and IAPP. She is currently Chairperson for the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA), is an active member of the Canada Council Leadership, and is also active on various committees including the Background Screening Credentialing Committee.
