Giancarlos Cercado

Giancarlos Cercado has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. In 2012, they began working as an Analista Programador at Righttek, where they gained experience in creating databases, generating schemas, and automating processes using Oracle and Netezza IBM databases and PL/SQL and ShellScript languages. Giancarlos later became an Ingeniero Data Warehouse at the same company, focusing on data warehouse management and monitoring.

In 2014, Giancarlos joined Rocalvi S.A. as an Ingeniero de Proyectos, where they developed and managed high-scalable MVC web applications, utilizing front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and KendoUI.

Moving on to Human Consulting Strategies in 2015, they worked as a Fullstack web developer, responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing a recruitment platform using Laravel framework and ReactJS.

In 2017, Giancarlos joined Logasystems as a Senior Frontend Developer, specializing in web and hybrid mobile app development with real-time functionality. Giancarlos utilized NodeJS, React-Native, Firebase, and VueJS technologies to build logistics and customs platforms.

Returning to full-stack development, Giancarlos worked as a freelance developer from 2015 to 2019. Giancarlos took on side projects, consulting, and developing APIs, applications, and web systems using technologies such as Laravel, NodeJs, ReactJs, VueJs, and Firebase.

Beginning in 2018, Giancarlos became a Fullstack Developer at Knetik, focusing on maintaining, improving, and bug fixing IoT solutions, microservices, and APIs using NodeJs and Typescript/Angular 6+. Giancarlos also utilized other tools like Docker, GIT, AWS, Jira, and Jenkins CI.

In 2021, Giancarlos joined SparkDigital as a Senior Frontend Engineer, responsible for development, enhancement, and bug fixing of client projects using Next.js, React/Typescript, and Nodejs. Giancarlos also worked on integrations with Stripe, contentful, and segment SEO APIs.

Most recently, Giancarlos has started working at +SUBSCRIBE® as a Full Stack Software Engineer in 2023.

Giancarlos Cercado completed their education from 2010 to 2015 at Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero en Sistemas Administrativos Computarizados with a field of study in Ingeniería de sistemas. In October 2022, they also obtained the certification of "Triplebyte Certified" from Triplebyte.
