Fernando Puertas Martinez has extensive experience in the media industry, with a focus on program scheduling, content management, and advertising operations. Fernando started their career as an intern at Viacom in 2010 before joining the company again in 2011 as a Production Assistant and Scheduler. In this role, they were responsible for managing on-air material for Nickelodeon and creating daily schedules for Paramount Comedy.
After their time at Viacom, Fernando worked at The Walt Disney Company as a Scheduler, Media Planner & Scheduler, and TV Advertisement Operations Coordinator. In these positions, they played a key role in planning and scheduling TV shows and campaigns, managing advertising spots, and coordinating with various teams to ensure the smooth transmission of commercials.
Following their tenure at Disney, Fernando joined WarnerMedia as an Ad Sales Operations Coordinator. Here, they analyzed TV channel ratings, liaised with AdSales representatives, and ensured the correct and timely transmission of commercials.
Currently, Fernando is working at Pluto TV as a Channel Editor and previously held the position of Program Scheduler. In these roles, they have been responsible for updating the scheduling and VOD section, creating programming highlights, and analyzing key performance indicators to develop effective programming strategies.

Fernando Puertas Martínez has a diverse education history in the fields of media communications, programmatic advertising, marketing, and videogame design.
