Joshua Haertel has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and programming. Joshua is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Pluto TV since June 2021. Previously, Joshua worked at Verizon Media from April 2019 to June 2021 as a Software Dev Engineer I. Before joining Verizon Media, Joshua was associated with Verizon Digital Media Services from January 2018 to March 2019. Joshua started as an Associate DevOps Engineer and later worked as a Backend Intern. Prior to Verizon, Joshua worked as a Design Verification Engineer Coop at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from May 2016 to December 2016. Joshua'sresponsibilities included post-silicon design verification, testing hardware, developing skills in Python, Git, Linux, Bash, Hardware Debug, and Regression testing.

Joshua also has experience as a Programming Tutor, where they helped students learn the fundamentals of programming in various languages. Joshua has experience working with both English and Spanish-speaking students. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University Electrical Engineering Department and as a Program Assistant at UVU PREP.
