In this role, they contributed to the architecting and development of the WebTV project, allowing the creation and distribution of Pluto applications to over 20+ platforms and devices. Laxman Deepak Raj also worked on various core functionalities such as performance optimizations, compliance, ad beaconing, and data analytics.

Prior to their work at Pluto TV, Laxman served as a Software Engineer at LOOT Interactive, LLC from January 2016 to April 2018. Here, they implemented the UI for RedBull TV on Sony PlayStation platforms and created a cinematic VR experience for Buzz Aldrin: Cycling Pathways to Mars project with multiple teams.

Laxman also has previous experience as a Software Engineer at LOOT Interactive, LLC from May 2015 to September 2015, where they contributed to the initial launch of the Twitch app on PlayStation platforms.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Web Developer at College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai from 2012 to 2013, and as the Director of Web Development at CEG Tech Forum from April 2011 to March 2012.

Laxman Deepak Raj J. obtained a Master's Degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Manufacturing Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy in 2012. Laxman also attended DAV Higher Secondary School, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science in 2008. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2016.
