Amy Jancewicz PhD has a wealth of experience in the scientific field. Amy began their career in 2008 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut in the Reiter Laboratory. In 2009, they moved on to Marquette University, where they worked as an REU Research Assistant in the Schlappi Laboratory. In 2012, they joined the Masson Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2016, they worked as an Ambassador for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). In 2017, they joined AmebaGone, Inc. as an Agricultural R&D Lead Scientist and Senior Scientist, where they performed bench research to advance two federally-funded SBIR research projects, oversaw and planned work of lab personnel, and initiated the launch of the company's profile on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. In 2018, they worked as a Scientific Strategist and Molecular Biologist/Screening Manager for Terramera. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Pluton Biosciences as the Chief Of Staff, supporting strategic initiatives and communications on behalf of Pluton’s CEO, CSO, and CFO.

Amy Jancewicz PhD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from the University of Connecticut, and attended high school at Norwich Free Academy and Interdistrict School for Arts And Communication (ISAAC). Additionally, they obtained a certification in Basics of Financial Management for Entrepreneuers from the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center in May of 2018.
