Irina Simpson

Irina Simpson is the SVP & Chief Claims Officer of PMA Management Corp. Irina oversees overall operations management for multiple client-dedicated locations, establishes and ensures compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements. Irina also works closely with IT and Data Teams to implement new system enhancements and provide data studies and analytics to the clients.

Irina has over 9 years of experience in the industry. Irina started their career at Sedgwick in January 2008 as an AVP Claims Operations. In this role, they were responsible for P&L oversight, establishing business plans with goals and objectives for the area and locations/offices, monitoring and taking appropriate action on management reports relating to the area/office performance, administering company personnel policies in all areas and following company staffing standards and training recommendations. Irina also interviewed, hired and established colleague performance development plans; conducted colleague performance reviews.

In August 2017, they joined PMA Companies as the SVP & Chief Claims Officer. In this role, they oversee overall operations management for multiple client-dedicated locations, establishes and ensures compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements. Irina also works closely with IT and Data Teams to implement new system enhancements and provide data studies and analytics to the clients.

Irina has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Irina Simpson has an executive education from the Insurance Institutes at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Irina is also a certified professional in disability management (CPDM) from the Disability Management Employer Coalition. Additionally, they have a master's in business administration (MBA) in strategic global management from Fox School of Business at Temple University. Finally, they have a bachelor's degree in international relations, Chinese, and French from Penn State University.
