Laura Gomez Thomas

Laura Gomez Thomas currently serves as Client Service Manager for the Southeast Region at PMA Companies, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Laura held the role of Vice President Claims at Foresight Commercial Insurance from May 2021 to August 2022, and served as Account Executive for Alternative Risk Programs at Sedgwick between September 2019 and May 2021. Laura has extensive experience in captive management and self-insured groups from tenure with York Risk Services Group and has held managerial roles at CompWest Insurance, Frank Gates Company, and Fireman's Fund, along with experience as a sole proprietor at Reduce Exposures and Liabilities, LLC. Laura’s educational background includes certifications in International Marketing and Workers Compensation Professional from California State University, Fullerton, and Michigan State University.
