Tanya Walter Sphr

Tanya Walter, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Tanya currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at PMC Commercial Interiors since June 2016. Prior to this, they worked at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting for 14 years where they held the position of Director of Human Resources from September 2002 to May 2016 and Regional Human Resources Manager from June 1999 to September 2002. From August 1997 to June 1999, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at TECH Inc. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Associate at Southeast Industrial Equipment, Inc. from January 1996 to August 1997. Tanya also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Odell Associates from August 1993 to January 1996 and as a Staffing Specialist/Human Resources Generalist at Okuma America Corporation from October 1988 to August 1993.

Tanya Walter, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business. Tanya also holds a Certificate in Diversity and Intercultural Competence from Wake Forest University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tanya has obtained certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
