Andrea Fomera

Andrea Fomera has worked in the tech industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Warehouse Manager at Clearview Satellite, LLC, where they oversaw $1.7 million in equipment transfer and delivery per year and coordinated individual equipment deliveries across the Mississippi and Alabama regions. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Home Theater & Networking Specialist at Heartland Media Solutions, where they taught clients how to use parts of software they did not understand, helped diagnose and resolve hardware related issues, and worked on installation teams to configure cable, internet, and home theater equipment. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at ProctorU, where they lead development on a new application for scheduling groups of test-takers, used Terraform/Ansible to start moving infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform, and coordinated and maintained releases. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Product Developer at Podia. Additionally, from 2013 to 2019, they were Self Employed as a Web Developer, where they implemented user interfaces using HTML, SCSS, and some JavaScript, developed Ruby on Rails applications, and configured databases and servers for automated deployment.

Andrea Fomera attended Pike-Lincoln Technical Center from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Comptia A+ & N+ certification. Andrea also attended Elsberry High School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a High School Diploma.
