Alex Simpson

Alex Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they worked at Podium Education as the Head of Partnerships, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at PeopleGrove as the Senior Director of University Partnerships from March 2019 to February 2023. Alex achieved recognition as a top performer and was part of the President's Club multiple times during their tenure at PeopleGrove.

Before joining PeopleGrove, Alex worked at HighPoint Technology Solutions as part of the University Partnerships team from June 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they collaborated with over 130 institutions to offer tools for improving student messaging, class scheduling, degree planning, financial aid automation, and the overall student experience.

Prior to their time at HighPoint Technology Solutions, Alex served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Civitas Learning from February 2015 to June 2017. Alex contributed to the company's mission of helping higher education leaders gain actionable insights from their data to support student success.

Alex started their professional career as a Director of Business Development at Stallion Capital Management in 2014 before transitioning to the role of Director of Development at Huston-Tillotson University from September 2012 to May 2014.

Earlier in their career, Alex held positions such as Director of Annual Giving at Radford University from September 2011 to September 2012 and Annual Giving Officer at Virginia Tech from June 2007 to September 2011.

Before entering the field of higher education, Alex worked as a Property Manager at AIMCO from 2003 to 2006.
