Brooke Roberts has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of international education. Brooke is currently serving as the Director of Partner Marketing at Podium Education. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Executive Director of Inside Study Abroad, a multimedia resource and consultancy for international education. Brooke also created the Global Pro Institute and Global Pro Labs online training programs, and provided consultation services to colleges, universities, and program providers on program development and marketing strategies.
In addition, Brooke co-founded The Study Abroad Journal, a physical journal designed for study abroad students. The journal became an Amazon #1 New Release within the first week of its launch.
Brooke also held positions at Johnson County Community College, where they worked as the Contract Director and later as the Director of International Education. Brooke served as an Operations & Marketing Consultant at Academic Studies Abroad, where they conducted analysis and implemented improvements in student advising systems, marketing strategies, and website functionality.
Furthermore, Brooke has experience as the CEO & Founder of Yoga Travel Tree, a boutique yoga retreat company. Brooke successfully organized and led multiple retreats worldwide, attracting participants through digital marketing and online outreach.
Previously, Brooke served as the Senior Vice President of GoAbroad.com, a leading online marketing platform for international education and youth travel. During their time there, they contributed to the strategic growth of the company, doubled advertising and services revenue, and increased total unique visitors.
Brooke also worked as the Communications Manager at NAFSA: Association of International Educators and as the Director of Operations & Student Advising at CIS Abroad, where they managed operations, student advising, and strategic outreach campaigns.
Prior to their various roles in the international education field, Brooke served as the Founding Director of Study Abroad at the University of South Dakota. Brooke established and managed education abroad programs and administration, increased student participation, and implemented safety and emergency standards.

Brooke Roberts completed their high school education at Labette County High School in Altamont, Kansas, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended Labette Community College from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they enrolled at Northeastern University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in International Affairs & Political Science. Brooke then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs (CSP) at Bowling Green State University, which they completed in 2006. In the same year, they obtained a TEFL Certificate in Mandarin Chinese & TEFL from Peking University.
