Katie Sylvia

Katie Sylvia has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Katie'smost recent position is as a Lead Data Analytics Instructor at Podium Education, where they deliver course material and provides interactive learning experiences for over 200 students enrolled in the program. Katie'srole focuses on teaching data analytics and data visualization techniques using tools such as Excel and Tableau. Prior to this, Katie worked at General Assembly as a Senior Instructional Associate, where they provided instruction and feedback to students in a 12-week Data Science Immersive Program. Katie also collaborated with an instructional team to plan the curriculum structure and incorporate the latest data techniques. Katie's teaching experience includes working as a Mathematics Teacher at MicroSociety Academy Charter School, Internationella Engelska Skolan, and Goffstown High School.

Katie Sylvia completed their education at Plymouth State University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Prior to that, they attended Oyster River High School from 2009 to 2013, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
