Luka de Castro

Luka de Castro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and event management. Currently serving as Field Sales Manager at Podium since September 2020, Luka has also held key roles including SDR Sales Manager and Account Development Manager. Prior experience includes a Sales Manager position at Crown Resorts and a Sales Executive role at The Star Gold Coast, where a notable achievement was contracting corporate hospitality for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. During a brief position as Banquet Operations Manager, Luka oversaw significant events, including the Gold Coast's first Logies, while managing the Banquets Department. Additional experience at The Star Gold Coast includes various supervisory roles, and earlier work as a Personal Assistant at Tricom Equities. Luka is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Event Management at Griffith University, currently on a leave of absence.
