Shridhar Mohandoss

Shridhar Mohandoss has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. In 2013, they worked as a Full stack Developer at Cobalt - Crisis Management and Business Continuity, where they designed and implemented a real-time dashboard using Node.js and MongoDB. Shridhar then joined CityParking in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer under contract, where they focused on designing and maintaining the infrastructure using AWS, DigitalOcean, Apache, Cloudflare, Vagrant, Docker, and Git.

In 2016, Shridhar took on the role of Development Lead - Full stack developer at ImpressView. Here, they built backend APIs using NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, and implemented test cases using Mocha and Chai. Shridhar also built a scalable video processing pipeline using ffmpeg, RabbitMQ, and DigitalOcean. Additionally, they designed and built the infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean.

From 2018 to 2021, Shridhar was a Team lead - Backend developer at Bandsintown Group. Shridhar was responsible for building scalable and highly available services and REST API's that catered to over 50 million users. Shridhar utilized NodeJS, NestJS (Typescript), ReactJS, Python, and Swagger for documentation. Shridhar also designed and built various cloud-based services on AWS.

In 2021, Shridhar joined Ledn as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they worked closely with the CTO to migrate the company's monolithic backend to microservices, using AWS tools such as Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, ECS, Typescript, NodeJS, and the Serverless framework. Shridhar also developed a user retargeting service to enhance user engagement using AWS Pinpoint. Additionally, they collaborated with front-end developers to design API specifications and built ReactJS components and APIs using Typescript, Swagger, AWS API Gateway, and Lambdas.

Currently, Shridhar is working as a Backend Engineer at Podopolo, starting in 2023.

Shridhar Mohandoss attended Anna University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at Concordia University from 2009 to 2012, earning a Master of Applied Science in Computer Software Engineering.
