Greg Woods

Greg Woods currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at POET since July 2019. Previously, Woods held the position of Data Center Sales Executive at EMC from April 2015 to June 2019 and served as the VP of Consulting & Support Services at EarthBend from June 2014 to March 2015. Woods was also the Chief Information Officer at Great Western Bank from March 2011 to May 2014. Other notable roles include various positions at Wells Fargo Education Financial Services over a period of 14 years, including Vice President of Data Management, Vice President of Technical Services, and Technology Manager for Mainframe Development. Woods began a career in technology as a Programmer/Analyst at Precision Computer Systems and worked as a System Administrator/Programmer at Norwest Bank. Military service in the United States Marine Corps included the role of Small Computer Systems/LAN Administrator from May 1989 to February 1993. Greg Woods holds a B.A. in Management Information Systems from Augustana University (SD), earned between 1988 and 1994.
