Klara Messersmith

Klara Messersmith currently serves as a Conservation Engagement Interpreter at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium since May 2021 and is also an Undergraduate Teacher Assistant for Animal Science 205 at Washington State University, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Swimming Instructor and Lifeguard at Canterwood Golf & Country Club from June 2017 to August 2020. Klara Messersmith completed a degree in Zoology with a focus on Animal Nutrition at Washington State University, from 2019 to 2023, after graduating from Bellarmine Preparatory School in June 2019.
