Chaitali Nijdam

Chaitali Nijdam is the current Legal Ops at Point Nine. Chaitali has over 10 years of experience as a commercial lawyer with a focus on technology transactions, fundraising and corporate governance.

Nijdam started their career as a Trainee at CN Partners Consultants LLP from September 2010 to March 2012. Chaitali then became a Senior Associate at Zehn from May 2012 to August 2016. After that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Themis Associates from August 2016 to August 2018. In their most recent position, they were the Senior Legal Counsel at Rapido from July 2019 to July 2022.

At Rapido, Nijdam was responsible for setting up the contract management process, developing agreement templates, and managing end-to-end commercial contracts such as SaaS agreements, supplier agreements, vendor contracts, EULAs, payroll processing agreements, data protection agreements, NDAs, POs, etc. Chaitali also managed the fund raising activities, drafting and negotiating transaction documents and due diligence process. Furthermore, they were in charge of day-to-day corporate governance matters, drafting charter documents and providing corporate advisory services. Lastly, they provided regulatory guidance to different functional teams to introduce new product lines.

Nijdam has a deep understanding of the legal challenges faced by startups and technology companies. Chaitali is extremely proactive and takes a hands-on approach to problem solving. Her experience makes their an valuable asset to any organization.

Chaitali has a BBM from Adarsh College in the field of Commerce. Finally, they have a Master of Laws - LLM from Maastricht University in the field of International and European Tax Law.
