Tami Ireland, MPH CHIE has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Tami started their career in 1991 as a Research Assistant at Harvard Community Health Plan, where they led quality improvement initiatives and pioneered quality measures for the development of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS). Tami also implemented a new operating system that improved analytic time and reporting capabilities.

In 1993, Tami became a Project Coordinator at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where they coordinated data collection and analyzed data for clinical and quality management initiatives. Tami also managed HEDIS chart review data collection and streamlined data collection methods, reducing chart review time by 25%.

Tami then joined Harvard Community Health Plan as a Research Analyst in 1994. Tami collaborated on the design of administrative-based data collection specifications for HEDIS, which subsequently became national standards.

Tami returned to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care in 1996 and held several positions, including Project Manager, Project Director, and Manager of Clinical Programs and Quality Measurement. In these roles, they developed corporate measurement agendas, represented Harvard Pilgrim on collaborative efforts with the Massachusetts Department of Health, and managed departmental operations and budgets.

From 2006 to 2018, Tami served as the Director of Population Health Improvement at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Tami was responsible for designing, evaluating, and overseeing the population health program, resulting in ten consecutive years as the #1 health plan in America. Tami also initiated cross-functional initiatives to maximize return on population wellness and disease management programming.

In 2018, Tami joined Point32Health as the Director of Health Engagement. Their responsibilities include designing, implementing, and evaluating health engagement strategies, managing an employer wellness program, and overseeing a nationally renowned mindfulness program.

Throughout their career, Tami has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and delivering high-quality care. Their expertise in population health, quality measurement, and data analysis has contributed to the success of the organizations they have worked for.

Tami Ireland, MPH CHIE has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. Firstly, Tami earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston University. Later on, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Social and Behavioral Sciences at the same institution.

Tami also engaged in executive leadership programs to enhance their knowledge and skills. Tami completed an Executive Leadership Program in Leadership for Change at the Boston College Carroll School of Management in 1998-1999. In addition, they attended the AHIP Executive Leadership Residency at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2016.

To further enrich their expertise, Tami participated in the Disparities Leadership Program offered by the Massachusetts General Hospital, Disparities Solution Center from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Health Disparities.

Currently, Tami is enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.
