Susan Downard has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 1996 to 2006, they worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Pharmacy Operations Manager. Susan then moved on to roles including Pharmacy Administration and Medicare and Pharmacy Benefit Implementations, Benefit Admin Dept. From 2014 to 2021, Susan worked at Tufts Health Plan as the Director of Clinical Pharmacy and Drug Utilization Management, where they were responsible for the development of formulary and pharmacy programs. Currently, they are the Director of Clinical Pharmacy at Point32Health. In addition, Susan has served as a Member of the National MTM Advisory Board and as a Citizen Advisory Board Member (Volunteer) at the Watertown Transportation Management Association Board of Directors.
Susan Downard earned a high school diploma in general studies from Eastlake North High School in 1987. Susan then attended The Ohio State University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and political science. Susan continued their education at The Ohio State University from 1992 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Additionally, in May 2020, they received a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
