Ian Kennedy

Ian Kennedy is a seasoned Senior Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in FPGA technology. Currently at Point72 since June 2023, Ian previously held a similar role at Hubbell Incorporated from December 2022 to May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Lead and Hardware Engineer at Quantlab Group from March 2017 to November 2022, and a brief tenure as Hardware Engineer at Teza Technologies in early 2017. Ian's career began with various roles including Software Developer at Hooch and Hardware Engineer at BAE Systems from June 2015 to January 2017. As a co-founder at Slydde, Ian contributed as an Android and Web Services Developer. Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Western New England University, completed in 2015, following an education at Bay Shore High School.
