Mike Pena is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment analysis and business development. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Point72 since August 2022, Mike has held similar positions at Carlson Capital, L.P. and Balyasny Asset Management L.P. Prior to these roles, Mike worked as an Analyst at HTX Capital, LLC, SOUND ENERGY PARTNERS, INC, and Simmons & Co. International, where expertise in equity research and energy sectors was developed. Mike began the career at BP as a Business Development Analyst. Educationally, Mike holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business, obtained in 2004.
