Declan Walpole has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Declan has worked for PointsBet since 2018, starting as Head of Quantitative Analytics and later becoming Director of Quantitative Analytics. Declan was then promoted to Director - Commercial Strategy and Senior Director - Commercial Intelligence. Currently, they hold the position of VP Corporate Insights. Prior to joining PointsBet, Declan worked at William Hill as Head of Quantitative Analytics and before that, they worked at Commonwealth Bank as an Analyst in Customer Insights and Modelling. Declan also has experience as a Consulting Analyst at Crescendo Partners, where they analyzed large datasets to generate insights for clients. Declan's early career involved research and teaching roles at the University of Sydney in the field of quantitative business analysis.
Declan Walpole completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Econometrics at the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Caringbah Selective High School from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained their HSC.
