Evan Farren

Evan Farren has extensive experience in the sports and gaming industry. Evan is currently working as the Director of Business & Strategic Insights at PointsBet since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Sportsbook Insights at PointsBet from July 2022 to May 2023. Before joining PointsBet, Evan worked as the Principal Analyst of Customer Lifetime Value at PointsBet from April 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining PointsBet, Evan worked at Banach Technology Ltd as the Head of Trading Analytics from August 2020 to April 2021. Evan also held the position of Head of Marketing Analytics at 2K from December 2019 to August 2020.

Prior to that, Evan worked at Segmatic as a Senior Analyst - Data Science from November 2018 to December 2019.

Evan has also had a long tenure at Paddy Power Betfair, where they held various roles. Evan served as the Head of Pricing Strategy for Risk & Trading from January 2015 to July 2016 and the Head of Soccer Trading from June 2008 to July 2016. Evan also worked as a Sports Manager & Trader, where they traded pre-match and in-play events and played a key role in hiring and training new staff.

Evan Farren completed their Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2017 to 2018. Evan obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University between 1998 and 2002. Prior to that, they attended Carndonagh Community School from 1993 to 1998, where they received their High School Leaving Certificate.
