Damien Johnson

Damien Johnson is an experienced cybersecurity and software engineering professional currently serving as the Team Lead Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Consultant at Polaris MEP, where responsibilities include conducting cybersecurity risk assessments for manufacturing clients and identifying vulnerabilities. Concurrently, Damien provides academic support at the University of Rhode Island's Academic Enhancement Center and has participated in internships at John Deere and Amazon Web Services, focusing on software engineering projects. As an I(X) Studio Pre-Accelerator Fellow at 401 Tech Bridge, Damien developed an AI algorithm for personalized clothing recommendations. Damien's involvement in the Hack.Diversity Fellowship and as Treasurer for the National Society of Black Engineers demonstrates a commitment to professional development and community engagement. Damien is pursuing a Master's degree in Cyber Security at the University of Rhode Island and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
