Giancarlo Angulo has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor at Broward College. In 2015, they became the Director at Broward College and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Assistant Director at Florida State University. From 2017 to 2022, Giancarlo Angulo held the position of Chair at the American Academy of Religion. Giancarlo also worked as a Student Representative at the Society of Biblical Literature from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, they joined The George Washington University as an Academic Advisor and later became a Senior Academic Advisor. During their time at The George Washington University, they also served as Teaching Faculty. Currently, Giancarlo Angulo is working as the Project Manager for Development and Corporate Partnerships at Polaris, formerly known as Polaris Project.
Giancarlo Angulo's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Florida International University. Giancarlo completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies in 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Wake Forest University. From 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies. Building on their academic achievements, Giancarlo Angulo then attended Florida State University from 2015 to 2021, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Religion/Religious Studies.
