Jonathan Mark Jimenez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 with their role as Co Social Vice President at UC Berkeley Residence Hall Assembly. Jonathan Mark then served as the Pilipinx Cultural Night's Set Design Co-Director at Pilipinx American Alliance in 2017. Shortly after, they became the Literary Editor at {m}aganda magazine. In 2018, they took on the position of K-12 Recruitment Director at bridges Multicultural Resource Center. Jonathan Mark also worked as Director of Retention at Pilipinx Academic Student Services (PASS). In 2020, they were the Marketing and Graphics Director at SportVue LLC. Later that year, they joined Polarr as a Community and Marketing Intern and eventually became the Community Manager. During their time at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, they served as the Financial Analyst Assistant and later as the Marketing & Communications Specialist for the Institute for Business Innovation. Overall, Jonathan has developed skills in community management, marketing, communications, social media, and event planning.
Jonathan Mark Jimenez completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended San Jose High School from 2012 to 2016, where they achieved an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a 4.0 GPA. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan also obtained certifications in Entrepreneurship and Technology from UC Berkeley's Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology in June 2020, as well as a Google Ads Search Certification from Google Ads in December 2020.
