Christian Herrmann

Christian Herrmann has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christian is currently working at Polestar as the R&D Business Team Lead since March 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of CTO Business Support at Polestar from March 2022 to March 2023. In 2021, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Humphree AB. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Berg Propulsion and Caterpillar Inc. as a Contract Engineer in Project Management. Christian also has experience as a Project Manager at SSPA - Your Maritime Solution Partner from 2013 to 2017. Christian's earlier work experience includes roles as a Fluid-Engineering Student Employee at DNV from 2010 to 2011 and as a Ship Stability Student Employee at DNV from 2007 to 2008. Christian has also worked as a Sailing Coach at Segelschule Pieper from 2006 to 2007 and as a Web-Design Student Employee at ifb GmbH from 2005 to 2007.

Christian Herrmann has a degree in Transport Systems from Technische Universität Berlin, equivalent to an MSc. Christian also has a prediploma from Hamburg University of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained a verified certificate for Electric Cars: Technology from Delft University of Technology through edX in 2022.
