Cody Newman is an experienced Paramedic and EMS Healthcare Provider, currently serving with American Medical Response since September 2022 and previously as a Fire Chief for Lacy Lakeview Fire Department in 2023. Cody has a long history in emergency services, with roles in multiple departments including Harker Heights Fire Department as a Driver-Operator and Paramedic, and as a Firefighter/EMS First Responder for the China Spring Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to emergency services, Cody has worked as an Account Representative for the Police and Firemen’s Insurance Association since June 2021, contributing to the organization’s mission of supporting police officers and firefighters nationwide. Musically, Cody has been an active percussionist since sixth grade, performing with various country music bands throughout Central Texas. Educational background includes multiple certifications in fire and emergency medical training from McLennan Community College and Blinn College, alongside a high school diploma from China Spring Independent School District.
