The Police Digital Service (PDS) is the UK organisation responsible for coordinating, developing, delivering, and managing digital services and solutions that enable UK policing to safely harness technology to improve public safety.  

Funded by policing and the Home Office, PDS works with law enforcement organisations, private industry, charities, public bodies, and government to deliver digital services and solutions with policing, for policing.

The Digital and Data Services team at the Police Digital Service is responsible for developing and managing digital and data-driven solutions that enhance the operational capabilities of UK law enforcement. They oversee the integration and use of digital case files, digital forensics, data analytics, and cloud solutions to improve efficiencies, support strategic intelligence, and drive innovation in policing to ultimately enhance public safety.
