Serge Chaumette

Serge Chaumette possesses extensive experience in the fields of computer science and cybersecurity. Currently, at Police nationale, Serge serves as a Réserviste in the Réseau des référents cybermenaces since August 2021, while also mentoring at 1Kubator since October 2021. As Directeur Scientifique at IcarusSwarms since December 2020, Serge leads scientific initiatives. At Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) since 1992, Serge holds multiple roles including Chargé de mission for collaborative projects, Professor, and research group leader for both Languages, Systems and Networks and Mobility, Ubiquity, Security. Additionally, Serge is a member of the Strategic Committee on Drones and New Usages at Aerospace Valley and has been the Head of the Ingénierie de l'Informatique learning programme of Computer Science Master at Université de Bordeaux since November 2019. As a co-founder and VP Innovation at NFC-i since July 2013, Serge has contributed significantly to the innovation landscape. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Université de Bordeaux and an Engineer's degree from ENSEIRB-MATMECA.
