Namita Srivastava holds an MPH and MBA and offers seventeen years of experience in various disciplines across the public and private sectors. Having lived and worked in multiple backgrounds and cultures, specifically in India, Thailand, Taiwan and Turkey she offers in-depth understanding and knowledge of working across nationalities, geographies and professional backgrounds. As part of her various roles over the years she has led and managed multiple client relationships and projects across industries. Her experience includes policy and strategy frameworks, research and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, business process re-engineering etc.
With Policy Wisdom, Namita has led a variety of policy-influencing projects that include policy landscape assessment, stakeholder mapping, process mapping, market research and analysis, market access and reimbursement planning, stakeholder engagement planning, scenario planning, policy planning and advocacy training, etc.. Her work has helped organizations move the policy needle to enhance population health. She has worked on therapeutic areas like oncology, diabetes, gastroenterology, dermatology, rheumatology, rare diseases, hemophilia etc., and issues like Health Technology Assessment, Precision Medicine, Digital Health, Value Based Healthcare, biosimilars and many more. She has trained teams of multiple organizations on various aspects of shaping the policy landscape and has worked with clients across the health spectrum – governments, patient organizations, pharmaceutical associations, health insurance organizations and pharmaceutical companies. Namita is a seasoned facilitator and has facilitated many strategic planning workshops with senior management teams. She has also conducted multiple capacity building sessions with patient groups and other stakeholders on various topics.
Namita is very passionate about elderly issues as she believes that as the world is ageing rapidly, there needs to be government intervention now, and is working on developing a policy framework for the most advanced public health policies impacting the elderly population in countries, with a special focus on Asia. She is personally invested in working with patient groups especially in the areas of rare diseases and hemophilia for early diagnosis and treatment.
