Elizabeth Baker, JD, CRCMP

Elizabeth Baker, JD, CRCMP has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Elizabeth currently works at Themis Global Risk & Compliance Consulting Limited as a Compliance, Risk and Governance Professional and as a Board Member. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors at PolicyCo in an advisory capacity. Elizabeth also worked at Harley-Davidson Financial Services, where they held multiple key positions, including Director of Compliance, AML/BSA Officer, Privacy Officer, and Chair of Board Committees. In this role, they managed a team and oversaw regulatory compliance for the company and its subsidiary, Eaglemark Savings Bank. Additionally, they served on various board committees and held the position of Assistant Board Secretary. Before joining Harley-Davidson, Elizabeth was the CEO of Themis Consulting, where they provided regulatory compliance and risk consulting services to companies. Elizabeth also worked at HomeStreet Bank as SVP Commercial Credit & Litigation Corporate Counsel, responsible for establishing and enforcing legal and credit policies. Elizabeth began their career as Senior Vice President Corporate Counsel/General Counsel at Equity Funding Inc, where they worked closely with the CEO and President and managed a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. Prior to that, they worked as a litigator in the insurance defense field, representing clients in property & casualty insurance defense claims and handling various legal matters such as real estate transactions, family law, contracts, and regulatory compliance. Throughout their career, Elizabeth has demonstrated expertise in compliance, risk management, governance, and legal counsel.

Elizabeth Baker, JD, CRCMP, obtained their Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Gonzaga University from 1985 to 1989.

In addition to their education, Elizabeth Baker holds several certifications. Elizabeth is a Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) from IRACP and is a member of the Institute of Directors of Ireland. Elizabeth also holds a Washington State Bar License from the Washington State Bar Association.
