Zofia Smolarska

Zofia Smolarska, PhD, is a seasoned researcher and academic with extensive experience in the field of theatre studies. Currently serving as a Researcher and Scientific Information Specialist at Polska Akademia Nauk since January 2023, Zofia previously held the position of Assistant to the Editor at MDPI from March 2022 to January 2023. Zofia's academic tenure includes roles as Postdoctoral Researcher and Assistant Professor at Akademia Teatralna im. Aleksandra Zelwerowicza w Warszawie from October 2016 to February 2022, and as an Editorial Board Member for Polish Theatre Journal from October 2016 to January 2021. Additionally, Zofia contributed as a Scientific Researcher to a report on theatre criticism during the pandemic, served as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen, and participated as a Theatre Critic in a national contest organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. With a Master's degree in Theatre Studies from Akademia Teatralna im.
