Jacek Jastrzębski

Jacek Jastrzebski is an accomplished legal professional and academic with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Chair of the Board at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority since November 2018 and a Council Member at the Bank Guarantee Fund since February 2019, Jacek has also held positions as an Associate Professor and previously as an Assistant Professor at Wydział Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego since 2006. Jacek's prior experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel at PKO Bank Polski from 2008 to 2018 and working as an independent legal professional at Chlopecki Sobolewska i Wspolnicy law firm. Jacek holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Law from the University of California, Berkeley, and has earned degrees from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Wydział Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Jacek completed pre-university education at II Stefan Batory High School in Warsaw.
