Francesco Cupertino

Francesco Cupertino serves as Presidente at Fondazione NEST since October 2022 and holds a long-standing academic career at Politecnico di Bari, where roles have included Professor, Rector, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor since July 2002. Additionally, Francesco Cupertino will take on the role of Delegato Nazionale for the European Innovation Council/European Innovation Ecosystems Horizon Europe from March 2024 to February 2025. Previous experience includes a position as a visiting researcher at the University of Nottingham from September 1999 to July 2000. Academic qualifications include a Dottorato di ricerca in ingegneria elettrotecnica from Politecnico di Bari, completed between 1998 and 2001.
