Jennifer Plesniak has a diverse work experience in the technology and political sectors. Jennifer started their career at the Central Intelligence Agency as a Political Analyst from July 2008 to June 2012. Then, they joined Chatham University as an IT User Services Specialist from July 2012 to March 2013. Jennifer further sharpened their skills at POLITICO, where they held multiple roles. From April 2013 to June 2016, Jennifer worked as a Help Desk Engineer. Later, they served as a Help Desk Manager from June 2016 to December 2020. Currently, Jennifer is the Deputy Director of Technology Services at POLITICO, a role they have held since December 2020. Additionally, they also hold the position of Global Director, Technology Operations, which they assumed in May 2023.
Jennifer Plesniak completed their education with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Affairs, U.S. Foreign Policy from American University in 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University between 2004 and 2008.
