Jeremy Bowers

Jeremy Bowers serves as the Chief Technology Officer at POLITICO, overseeing the global technology organization since April 2023. Prior experience includes directing a team of over 65 engineers and managers at The Washington Post, where Bowers worked from April 2019 to April 2023. Bowers previously held positions at The New York Times from May 2014 to March 2019, including Senior Editor for News Applications and Senior Software Engineer, contributing significantly to the publication's interactive news capabilities and election results infrastructure. Earlier career roles include news applications developer at NPR, senior developer at The Washington Post, and news technologist at Tampa Bay Times. Bowers received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg in 2006.
